brutal cold this week

Got to -43 f here this week. that sucked. Mike took an injury during it. He had been up over 30 hours working alone trying to get things caught up so he could spend some time with me. He had to deal with a frozen pipe at a pump house. it was frozen and under pressure. As he was heating it, it broke and sprayed him. His truck was over 100 yards from that building and 20 miles from home. He managed to get to it and home before he collapsed. I had to cut some of his frozen clothes off of him to warm him up. Did get him in bed and got in with him, damn he was cold. What a way to finish the year out. He is ok but still somewhat out of it.
