is this thing on?

I got a notice that my free trial (from like 3-4 days ago) is about to expire. I'm looking at the events. In the whole country, I see two and neither are in my state. I'm not sure why anyone would pay for this site. Am I missing something? Also, I blocked someone I find creepy, but I still see his stuff. Sure, he can't contact me, but I don't want to see him, ever. So, if blocking is really one-sided, this site is not going to work for us.
