Unable to delete messages.

This has been a problem for awhile. I will delete a message and next time I log in there it is. What is the deal with that? Is that a site issue or is there something I need to do to clear those deleted messages out?

    I have five years' of messages that I cannot delete. I have reported this as a bug,there is a report a bug button at the bottom of the screen, several times but it may take all of you to do this to get it taken care of.

    It happens on the sister site too. I reported it on there. Still waiting to see if it gets fixed.
