Rather than ties, two rings are used to tighten the straps. Being Koala, all three straps can be adjusted. Was intending to wear this one for part of a trail before covering up with my shirt once I felt things were getting too busy but I chickened out as the first person I encountered was an older guy going for a run. We exchanged a greeting, but I immediately felt the flaunt factor was just too high for the location and covered up, just before a younger female runner reached me. My usual approach is to choose what I'm wearing and then 'forget' I'm wearing it - that is, not worry about my daring choice once I've committed - but that approach failed me on this occasion.ReactReply - BI
BillyApr 17, 2023Has anyone worn any of Dubio's extreme bikinis to a non-nude beach? Since the penis is exposed, I would guess not. I have worn the see-through, extreme minimal coverage to 2 different non-nude beaches. At one place I was asked to cover up. At the other, my penis was clearly visible through the white see-through fabric, even with the beginnings of an erection. I got a lot of stares, from women and men. The thong string in back was very thin so very minimal coverage there also. It made me feel nude even though I wasn't.

There's an additional ring on this suit that's not particularly visible. This blue Koala is relatively tame, the main feature being an internal structure for a shaft-up look that takes away the interruption of the centre seam.

I could probably wear it in the right location but assuming it's also where I could go nude, I'd likely have to put it back on eventually and that process takes quite a bit of intimate manipulation to optimise the look and I do try to avoid excessive intimate manipulation in public areas. Hom thong bought back when Daimaru was open in Melbourne and had it as the last example on a remainder rack. Love the crinkled-look blue fabric although the pouch coverage is conservative for a string-side thong and it's lined so its not as intimate as some of my suits. It ideally could have been one size smaller and so never feels fully snug but even in the surf it stays in (or at least naturally returns to) position.

Here are a few of mine for comparison... I have a few of the brightly coloured CaseyKevin thongs, of which I'm a big fan. Also a couple of JOK thongs which are of similar style with a pouch front that is comfy and - I think - looks good... and a narrow string back. Finally my little black pouch - can't remember where I got that one, but again I like the way it looks and feels... surprisingly comfy!

As for hair management, I don't shave but pluck the pubes (leaving only the shortest finest hairs) and trim the rest of the body. It lowers the volume of hair while not presenting as totally shaved and means no matter how small my suit is, the hair coverage is consistent to the edge of the suit. Not too much effort to maintain and I'm happy with the look.

As if a thong isn't daring enough, a small, shaped pouch completes the 'bare essentials' look when nude is not possible.
