Hairy legs

I love hairy legs and initially I had very hairy legs until a few years ago when I noticed that the hair stopped growing. I have had from time to time a numbness on my left leg below the waistline and above the knee. I believe it is a blocked nerve which can become painful at times for a minute or so. Is this why the hair isnt growing back and are there any remedies i could use to ease the pain, the nerve blockage and bring the hair back on my legs? Thanks in advance
