I am a german early retired man and what i found out is that if i watch for a room to rent on air bnb i can for example rent a room in Barcelona in a shared flat for 15-100 when i look on gayairbnb the rooms start up to 50-. Same everywhere else. I have the feeling if i look specially for "gay" places everything is in my opinion very expensive and i have not the money for this kind of holidays and i realized even as a working person i could not effort so much money for a "gay" holiday.... I ask myself is to be gay now a "lifestyle" only for people with tons of money?

beachformeSep 18, 2021I understand what you are saying. I was looking for a place to stay in New England this summer and found the same listing on both AirBnB and MisterB&B, but the gay listing cost 20% more. So I reserved on the AirBnB site. Such an arrangement does make it seem, in my opinion, that gay folks are paying a premium to support their own community. Maybe we are willing, or maybe the service provider feels fine about slightly gouging members of their community.
