The nude beach I go to has very clearly marked clothing-optional areas. Youre not allowed to go to the bathroom/concession area naked. That being said, theres nothing that says what I have to wear. So Ive collected some see-through/mesh/fishnet thongs and bottoms to see if I get into any kind of trouble. Check the photos to see what Im working with. Would love to try and walk around in my fishnet C-string! ;)

Ah. How "covered" is sufficient? My collection allows me to try every degree, except I don't have a c-string. Perhaps my boldest was my fishnet string, but with a shiny metal ring in case the coverage was in doubt. Sheerness when wet is another dimension as the fabric gradually returns to opaque as it dries.

If it is in that area or immediately adjacent, then I would say that you could wear whatever you want as long as your privates are covered. On the other hand, if the bathroom/concession area is more removed from the clothing-optional area, then I would think it would be more appropriate to dress more conventionally. Remember that it should not be so much what the sign says but whether you would be offending people. I used to visit a clothing optional beach when I was in my 20s. There was an area between where you could go nude and where you had to be clothed. I thought of this as a "transition" area. I imagine that the women who sunbathed in their bathing suits in that transition area would not be too offended if a man was nude or else they would have sat further away. It could be the same thing in the bathroom/concession area that you are referring to, depending upon where it is located,
