  Nothing that I know of.  I had a couple pics deleted - I just uploaded them again and so far they've stayed.

  One thing I've seen consistently is when you read a message someone has sent you, you have to manually mark it as "Read", otherwise the message notification stays on.  Once you've clicked on "View", that should happen automatically.
