Oct 30, 2012Does anybody have experiences like mine....where you meet folks for play, only to find out that you either know common folks, or close to it?
In my playing days, I met and played with a couple where the gal worked at the retirement community I had elderly relatives in (and she knew them), I met a couple where the husband used to work for the organization I worked for at the time, and had a good friend that was one of my co-workers. Another couple I met, the boyfriend was active in hobbies I am involved in and had common friends/acquaintances. I don't think I ran into that with any of the single ladies I have met over time.
Anybody else have weird stories of meeting and playing with folks who know folks you do? Share them! I would like to hear!
