What happened to edit and delete functions?

The site accidentally added a post twice, and since I find that annoying when others do it, I want to delete the second one. Also, sometimes I want to edit a post, and see that this function is also gone. I wonder if the options are somewhere that I don't see them.

    I also wonder about this. I posted something, went back and read it and wanted to make a couple of edits. There seems to be no way to do it. Also to delete. I'd like to hear if it is a deliberate change or a glitch.
