Technology, arts & sciences, languages, civics, making money, living to 120.

Classical, orchestral and opera, old and new tops the list. Delibes, Puccini, Mozart, Glass. Disco, house, trance, hip-hop, techno and anything done well that captivates and delights. Music is a necessity.

In no particular order: Cloud Atlas, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, A Clockwork Orange, Moulin Rouge, Quest for Fire, The Bear, Blade Runner, The Godfather I & II, Little Miss Sunshine and a thousand more that will need to be remembered and added later. They just keep coming.

Advocates for human rights and equality; enemies of autocracy and demagogues; defenders of the voiceless masses; protectors of children, the aged and frail, the disabled, the poor and the disadvantaged and the victims of discrimination, hatred, cruelty and violence; champions of the oppressed and downtrodden the world over. Anyone who, in the presence of imminent danger and at great personal risk with no thought of reward or glory, acts for the benefit of others despite all opposition and against all odds, and succeeding or failing in the effort, could not have done more. Such acts can be great or small. You don't have to be Superman to be a hero. Be somebody's hero today.
