Thank you for viewing my profile; this is quite difficult for me to do ... writing all about myself. Please also see the Who I'd Like to Meet section below. I am just an INTJ ... do you know what that is? Introverted, intuitive, thinking, judgmental person on the Myers Briggs typology index. And I like to be naked. First of all, I am a bold, independent-thinking, unapologetic, tree-hugging liberal. That trait, I think can be traced to the time when I was just gaining political awareness during the 1972 presidential elections. There was one candidate, George McGovern, who was against the Vietnam War and another guy, Richard Nixon, who just lied and lied to the American people about his involvement in the Watergate scandal. I could not believe that 60+ percent of the American people could fall for his line of bull. I guess that you can figure out how I feel about our current president! Remember the words of Sinclair Lewis: "When fascism comes to America it will come wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross". (That is a statement about false patriotism and religion.) Next, I love almost all animals (I'm not too crazy about snakes). I remember one occasion when I was only about three or four years old and my family was watching a TV show in which a mountain lion fell off a cliff and broke its back. I just cried and cried ... I was inconsolable. Still today, I love cats although I do not own one. Another trait that I'm not sure that I'm proud of is that I'm quite skeptical, perhaps to a fault. And since we're discussing my faults, I am also a smoker. I'm trying to quit, but I still smoke. After I earned my first degree (in Economics), I joined IBM in So California and did fairly well. However, over the years, I fell out of love with the rat race and transferred to the Reno branch office because I could live in the forest near Lake Tahoe. Then, in 1993, IBM was having a difficult time and offered me an early retirement package which I accepted. I then moved to Flagstaff so I could attend NAU. I earned a couple more degrees (MA in Psychology, BS in Mathematics) and tutored for several more years. In 2013, I retired for a second time and now spend my time travelling the world. I have traveled much ... throughout the Western US, Canada, and Alaska. I have visited each state several times camping in my very small travel trailer. Recently, I have traveled to several foreign countries in Europe, South America, the Himalayas, New Zealand and Australia. I very much love seeing new sights and meeting new types of people. Last year, I did a trip to Africa, but that was the least fun of any of these continental trips. And recently, I got back from a trip to Antarctica which completed my visits to all seven continents. Now, what or who, am I looking for. That's even harder for me to explain. I just don't know! She must be young at heart, not too conservative, must not hurt defenseless creatures (including people), and must share my love for the outdoors. She must be an equal and stand up for her rights. But hair color, eye color, etc, etc, etc ... I won't know until I see it. I am looking for a woman who wants to be a travelling companion, best friend, lover, and confidante to me for the rest of my life. Thanks again for reading about me.
