Some people might say its none of my business, but I feel it actually is because this is a chatting forum. We all joined here to connect, get to know each other, and share experiences. If not for that, then whats the point of having a social community like this in the first place? But heres what puzzles me: I see profiles that boldly state they dont want to interact at all. And I cant help but wonder if you dont want to talk, then why sign up for a site thats literally built around interaction? Isnt that like going to a party and sitting in the corner with a sign that says dont talk to me? Ive even seen long, carefully written bios some of them almost essay-length where, right at the very end, it says dont ask me anything else. Thats like writing a whole book and then telling people but please dont read it. Honestly, why go to the effort of sharing so much if you dont want anyone to respond to it? Then there are the ones that say things like dont say hi, hello, or how are you. Okay fair enough, maybe those are too common and boring. But then I have to ask how are we supposed to start a conversation instead? Should we open with a Shakespeare quote? Or maybe send them a knock-knock joke? If I say hi, its wrong. If I say something else, I risk getting blocked. So whats the right answer here? It almost feels like some profiles are designed as traps: whatever you do, you lose. lol And even if I somehow get past that stage and start a conversation, another mystery shows up. Some people reply with nothing but one-word answers yes, no, fine. That leaves me stuck trying to carry the conversation, asking follow-up questions, or creating a new topic just to keep the flow going. But instead of appreciating the effort, suddenly Im labeled annoying or boring. So my question is: if you dont enjoy small talk, and you dont want effortful conversation either, then what exactly do you want? Maybe mention your preferred way of being approached in your bio it would save a lot of head-scratching. And of course, there are the bios that say things like single men, dont message me or Indians, dont slide into my DMs. Thats loud and clear and honestly, I dont mind it. Whether it comes from a bad past experience or just personal preference, at least its upfront. It makes it easier for people like me to respect those boundaries, skip those profiles, and not waste anyones time. In a way, I appreciate the honesty even if it stings a little. But then another question comes to my mind: isnt this site supposed to be about naturism, body freedom, and open-mindedness? If we put walls up before a conversation even begins, doesnt that go against the whole spirit of the community? Shouldnt we be encouraging interaction instead of shutting it down? Look, I get it not everyone wants to chat with everyone. We all have preferences, comfort zones, and boundaries, and thats perfectly fine. But theres a big difference between setting boundaries respectfully and creating a profile that feels more like a do not disturb sign. If someone doesnt want to talk, maybe the better option is just not to list themselves as available for chat. At the end of the day, were all human. We want connection, understanding, and maybe just a friendly hello without the fear of getting blocked. So heres my simple suggestion: if you dont want interaction, say so clearly. If you do want it but in a certain way, then explain how. And if youre tired of the same old greetings, then give people some creative alternatives to start with. That way, nobody wastes time, nobody feels unwanted, and the community becomes more welcoming for everyone. Because really whats the point of being on a social site if we cant even say hi?
